Arrington Vineyards first opened its doors on July 1, 2007. From the beginning, our vision has been to create an inviting “wine country experience” right here in the hills of Middle Tennessee. The land that is now home to our vineyards was first planted with grapes in 2003, laying the foundation for what would become the winery. As surrounding farmland was thoughtfully brought together, the estate took shape and the spirit of Arrington Vineyards emerged. One of the original farmhouses was then transformed into our first tasting room and retail space, known as “The Lodge.”

As the vision for the winery took shape, Kix Brooks of the award-winning country music duo Brooks & Dunn helped cultivate the warm, welcoming atmosphere that continues to define our experience today. By April of 2007, Arrington Vineyards was officially licensed, and bottling began. Our wines quickly received recognition, including a “Best of Show” award at the 2007 Wines of the South Competition.

In 2008, John Russell, a longtime Middle Tennessee businessman, joined the partnership, contributing strategic business leadership and a shared commitment to creating memorable guest experiences as the winery continued to grow. That same year, we added a bottle storage warehouse and began distributing our wines through Lipman Brothers. After Tennessee legalized direct wine shipping in 2009, we launched Kix’s Wine Club, now enjoyed by members across the country.

In 2012, the property expanded again with the addition of a neighboring farm featuring a Barn, a 1940s house, and a modern residence. The Barn became a retail space and weekend live music venue from April through October. The modern house became our Vineyard House, home to Elevated Tasting Experiences. The 1940s house was restored and used to host intimate, private events, later becoming known as the Club House.

In 2018, we constructed a Pavilion near The Lodge to support live music and special events. When outdoor service became essential in 2020, this Pavilion was converted into our primary retail space, offering bottled wine, wine flights, Frosé, merchandise, and picnic-friendly foods. At the same time, we added our Hillside Stage, creating a new open-air venue for live music with sweeping vineyard views.

As our Wine Club continued to expand, the west side of the property also evolved. In 2024, we built the Wine Club Pavilion at the Club House. This dedicated amenity provides Wine Club members with a relaxed, elevated environment to enjoy tastings indoors or unwind on the Clubhouse Lawn, often accompanied by live music and the beauty of the vineyard landscape.

Today, our focus remains what it has always been: to craft outstanding, approachable wines and to provide a scenic and memorable place to enjoy them. Whether picnicking on the hillside or gathering at sunset for live music, guests continue to make lasting memories here among the vines. We are proud to be known as “Nashville’s Wine Country.”
